Checking the News

Between wanderings I read the news. I have noticed news articles by different news organizations and the headlines are many times slanted to give a negative slant to U.S. policies and the president. The Associated Press seems to write with a very liberal slant (or is it that only the liberal/socialist slanted material gets published?) and is very anti-United States.

Certain writers seem to crow about US casualties in Iraq and reports largely negative stories about the United States. Polls and opinons are always anti-US and are "cherry picked" from polling organizations (usually anti-US) to portray the US as being overbearing and anti-world.

I suppose one should read news from ALL sources, rather than just from one news organization. However, overall, most news organizations seem to be anti-Bush and anti-US in general. Terrorists are called "insurgents" or "rebels" rather than Terrorists! Mass killings in countries like Sudan are largely ignored since there are no US military types to blame the killings on.

Seems like there is an Agenda by the Main Stream Media to discredit the United States.

Some day soon though, the worm will turn.
